About Us

Having studied history and politics at The University of London, where I met my fellow entrepreneur and founder of UK Jobs & Corporate Training, Rashad Nawaz, I embarked into the working world. I now have over 20 years of experience in different stages of grant-making and management, project and programme management experience, policy development, and commissioning in the charity and public sector.

I have also worked at the overseas aid section of the Foreign Office, and for one of the world’s leading biomedical charities, The Welcome Trust. 

Throughout my successful career, I have undertaken numerous corporate training courses, including managing programmes successfully, and soft skills training, such as emotional intelligence.

I recently embarked on an MBA at Exeter University Business School. It is my experience in corporate training and management throughout the years which developed my passion to help others reach their potential in their careers, through personal and professional development.

My degrees in politics, economics and law led to my successful career as director of a London-based boutique immigration law firm that specialises in immigration (personal and business), asylum and British nationality law. 

I now have over 20 years of experience in UK immigration law with experience in both the profit and not-for-profit sectors, providing solutions for private individuals and businesses. It is my work as an immigration lawyer which allowed me to fully appreciate the needs of UK businesses for skilled workers. My passion is to work with individuals from across the world to enhance their careers.

Throughout my career, I have also completed numerous professional development training courses, and have a particular interest in soft skills training, such as confidence building and personal effectiveness/productivity. It is this interest, alongside my career as an immigration lawyer, which began the development of UK Jobs & Corporate Training.
